A Prompt Playbook is a personal collection of reusable prompt templates for tasks you do repeatedly with AI. Instead of crafting prompts from scratch each time, you pull out a tested template, fill in the variables, and get consistent, high-quality results.
Step 1—Step 1: Identify Your Recurring Tasks
Think about your work over the past month. Which tasks have you done (or wanted to do) with AI more than once? Here are some examples to spark your thinking:
- Drafting emails to clients or colleagues
- Summarising meeting notes or documents
- Creating content (blog posts, social media, reports)
- Analysing data or information
- Preparing for presentations or meetings
- Brainstorming ideas or solutions
- Writing or reviewing code
- Creating training or educational materials
